It’s that time again! Everest Gymnastics is finally slowing down a bit after a long and exciting season. Here, the coaches share some advice on what to do between the end of a long run and the start of a new gymnastics year.
Q: Should gymnasts continue training throughout the summer?
Everest Gymnastics: Yes, of course. We suggest rest and small incremental breaks in training. Keep in mind that their bodies have just undergone some pretty intense workouts, and resting will help them regain their physical and emotional strength. We like to see them take it easy on themselves for a few weeks so that they can build themselves back up to high-intensity training.Continue reading
